Why did you want to get involved with Pintsized Productions?
I'm full time Employment Specialist with Action Mental Health. I have worked in the community/voluntary sector for over 16 years and within the Arts sector for 20.

I started out as a drama facilitator with Rainbow Factory School of Performing Arts as a fresh faced 16 year old. I was hooked and I have never looked back.

Having a Theatre Company who produce first class, professional theatre with emerging artists who engage first time audiences into the Arts Community is why I choose to be a part of Pintsized NI.

Why did you want to get involved with Pintsized Productions?
I previously worked in the arts sector as a young person and I could see the massive benefits it has on wider society. As I progressed a career in youth and community work I wanted to continue to contribute to the arts in some way. PintSized was the perfect opportunity for me as I believed in its ethos. I wanted to be part of a company that supported emerging artists to make their big break, because I understand how hard that is, especially in a culture where the arts is undervalued and underfunded. PintSized supports these artists while producing theatre that is of an incredibly high standard, that I am extremely proud of.

Why did you want to get involved with Pintsized Productions?
I come from a finance background, with very little involvement in the arts as a child (with a very brief cameo as a tree in the background of a primary school nativity play the only highlight in my acting career). However, with people around me involved in theatre shows growing up, it is always something that has been close to my heart. I joined Pintsized because of their ethos to give local emerging artists an opportunity to showcase their skills in a difficult sector that has seen funding cuts in recent times. Having seen a number of their shows prior to joining I was blown away by the quality they were able to produce, especially on such a small budget. By being a part of Pintsized, I am proud to say that I play a little part in helping incredible talented people take a step in reaching their potential in hopefully becoming the stars of tomorrow.

Why did you want to get involved with Pintsized Productions?
I've been following Pintsized since its inception but living away and then working in the industry limited my involvement. As I'm currently on a career break, it seemed the perfect time to get more actively involved. As a professional Stage Manager, I hope that by sitting on the Pintsized Board, I will be able to help train and mentor emerging stage mangers and technicians.

Pintsized is an extremely important company, especially in these difficult times for the Arts. It's a privilege to work with a company dedicated to supporting emerging artists and backstage staff

After filming a scene as a paramedic one night, I was surprised to find myself in the featured photograph and quoted in a local newspaper as lead medic on a real incident that had happened three streets over from the film set.

Why did you want to get involved with Pintsized Productions?
I loved the ethos behind Pintsized Productions, it's a theatre company for emerging artists, giving great actors, directors, stage and production managers those first opportunities of professional work. Crucial experience all professionals need at the start of an exciting but sometimes hard career in the arts. Being part of Pintsized lets me be part of that journey from the very beginning. I love to see our artists go on to forge sucessful careers.

What’s your favourite play/musical?
Phantom of the Opera. Not only a spectacle to see, given the amazing props, staging and of course the songs, but the storyline is also so diverse from humour and pure love to dark sadness. It's a must see!

Why did you want to get involved with Pintsized Productions?
As an ex teacher I am committed to anything that helps young people develop their skills and when the opportunity came along to get involved with Pintsized it was a 'no brainer' especially     as it also produces the occasional play with an 'educational' theme
